I'm going to share with you the steps I followed to plant and grow capsicum in our home garden. You can have this vegetable for food, and it is cooked in different ways and added to other foods to make them tastier. When you can have them in your home garden, you will not need to bother to find them in the vegetable market.
The price of capsicums in the market is high, and in order to get a big economic advantage as well as a cultivation free from poisons, let's see how to make a capsicum plant in your own garden. Wouldn't it be great if we could get the capsicums that we need for our kitchen without being poisoned and from our own garden?
We can plant these in a pot or a bag. If you buy seeds from the market, do not buy seeds packed in transparent covers. Because exposure to sunlight destroys the germination power of the seeds.
Plant the seeds in a proper soil mixture in a container with holes in the bottom to drain excess water. Plant the seeds and place them in the shade until their leaves are visible. Cover the container with the sprouted seeds with something like a piece of newspaper. While watering it, put water on top of that paper.
When leaves are visible it's okay to expose it to sunlight. Expose it to the sun in the morning first, then get it used to the sun little by little.
After, on the 6th day morning tiny leaves are visible.
When they are grown enough, plant them in the field, in a pot, or in a bag. And put fertilizer, insect repellent, etc. on the plant for better growth.
